Meet the Author

Jerry P. Hanus, a talented emerging author, hones his writing craft for children's books in this captivating series named Silly Billy Adventures.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Jerry grew up with two brothers in Honokaa on the Big Island and currently lives in Tokyo, Japan, where he works as an entrepreneur and loves experimenting with music.

Jerry challenges himself to be another kind of writer for children's books. His primary work is teaching kids, which they often find exciting and engaging. In addition, he has an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys the idea of business with kids.

Jerry has spent 20 years as a remarkable teacher at the Joy to the World American International School. He is the institute's founder and CEO of Dream International Co., Ltd.

Through their multiple programs, this school opens doors for children aged 0 to 10, which has allowed Jerry to spend time with a distinct age group and develop a sense of understanding for their minds. Jerry knows that children's stuff is big business and uses his experience to educate parents and relate to children.
